In January 2022, I started a personal blog on Medium to explore my interests and practice my writing skills. It’s where I channel my thoughts and creative energy. I focus on climate, environment, politics, and culture.
Modern Luxury
In the Spring of 2020, I had the opportunity to work on the editorial team at Modern Luxury Media, a national media company specializing in connecting luxury brands to affluent audiences. The Washington office is tasked with producing a monthly edition of DC Magazine, which featured my pieces on art, wellness, and hospitality.
University Archives
My writing career started at the University of Maryland. I started by writing articles for Monumental Magazine before assuming the role of Editor in Chief of the publication my senior year. I also wrote articles for the WMUC college radio station and Her Campus.
Monumental Magazine is a fashion magazine at the University of Maryland. It is, in one word, monumental. The vision for Monumental in the words of our Founder is, “to share unique things, specifically in terms of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and entertainment.” I served as the Director of Art and Photography for our founding year before assuming the role of Editor-in-Chief.

Sometimes, ideas just come to me (even if those ideas are prompted by assignments). My writing allows me to tell stories worth sharing, express ideas worth having, and release feelings worth exploring.
Creative Writing
When I found out that I could combine my love for music and concerts with my love for writing, I became a columnist at WMUC College Park Radio. While the side gig didn’t always take priority for me, it was another place to house my work at the intersection of my interests.

Her Campus is an “online magazine dedicated to, written by, and focused on empowering, college women.” This light-hearted, conversational magazine helped me kickstart my writing career at the University of Maryland. At Her Campus Maryland, our close knit group of ladies get the creative freedom to write and explore whatever topic they want on or off campus.
